Ottawa's Home-Grown Cleaning Crew

Crystal Clear Window Cleaning was born out of a simple idea: work hard, do it right, and the rest will follow. Inspired by his father and determined to build something of his own, Ollie founded the company in the summer before Grade 11 — not just to earn money, but to do it on his own terms while still competing in the sport he loves, soccer.

That first summer meant long days knocking doors, learning how to pitch, and slowly turning strangers into loyal clients. Those early clients became referrals, and those referrals became a business. The growth was real, and it was earned.

Now entering Year 4, Ollie is back from his first year studying Business at the University of Western Ontario, and Crystal Clear is bigger and better than ever.

A born-and-raised Ottawa native, Ollie started Crystal Clear in his Grade 10 summer with nothing but a squeegee, a work ethic, and a drive to build something real. What started as a way to make money without having to quit playing competitive soccer quickly grew into a full-scale home services operation. Now back from his first year at Western studying Business, Ollie is going into Year 4 with more ambition than ever.

Also a proud Ottawa native, Harrison was stuck in a dead-end dishwashing job when his close friend Ollie brought him on board. It turned out to be the best career move he ever made. Harrison spent his gap year pushing himself to new heights — literally — earning his Level 1, 2, and 3 ski instructor certifications. That same discipline and drive is now fully channelled back into Crystal Clear as he heads into Year 4 before starting Commerce at Dalhousie University.

Backed by Ontario's Summer Company Program

In Year 2, Crystal Clear was selected for the Ontario Summer Company Program — a highly competitive two-month accelerator for young entrepreneurs. The team received a $3,000 grant to invest directly into the business, and spent the summer alongside other driven young founders learning from experienced guest speakers and business mentors. The program sharpened everything from marketing and financials to operations and leadership, and played a big role in how Crystal Clear scaled into what it is today.
